Wilhelmsen Ships Service is partnering with Klüber Lubrication to offer customers greater access to environmentally-friendly high-performance specialty lubricants.

With effect from 1 August 2021, Wilhelmsen has taken over all sales, logistics and consulting services under Klüber Lubrication's maritime portfolio for its sea-going vessels.

Klüber Lubrication's high-performance specialty lubricants are designed for a variety of vessel applications. They provide protection against wear, which allows longer intervals between maintenance and greater lifespan of ship components.

With the partnership, customers who choose Klüber Lubrication's premium products will now benefit from Wilhelmsen's in-depth maritime expertise, market-leading customer service and unrivalled global distribution network. This means that operators of ships, shipyards and dry docks from all over the world can purchase premium specialty lubricants from one point of contact.

If you are an existing Klüber customer from the past 3-5 years, then you will receive a customer letter from Klüber (see dates below) informing you of the partnership agreement and to direct further enquiries and purchases of Klüber’s maritime lubricant products towards WSS being their exclusive distributor partner. You should receive the customer letter from the following dates based on the region you operate in:
